Mark Martin To Leave DEI? - Closer Look Nascar - Getting Deep Into Nascar

Mark Martin To Leave DEI?

With silly season in high gear a rumor that has been making the rounds is Mark Martin leaving DEI for Hendrick Motorsports. According to various sources Mark Martin will give it one last try to win a championship as Casey Mears will not be retained at Hendrick Motorsports and Martin will take his spot.

Now these are just rumors, but this move would not surprise me one bit. Martin has always wanted to win a championship and Mears is struggling right now so maybe a change of scenery is best for him. It sure helped Kyle Busch. Martin would fit in well at Hendrick Motorsports, but we will have to wait to see if this really does happen or not.

Martin’s retirement tour sure is taking a long time. Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy and he is a great driver, but I thought he was heading out two years ago…

  2. WINN3R CW Says:

Martin has just been dragging out his retirement the last couple years. I imagine he would have left a couple years ago but he keeps getting offers. Until teams stop offering him cars to drive in then he’ll stay in the mix.

    Hi,

Joe Gibbs recently completed a two-week book and media tour to promote his legacy book Game Plan for Life. This book will make its debut on the New York Times bestseller list this week.
In order to keep the momentum going for Coach Gibbs’ book, would you be interested in participating in a blog tour?

If interested, I would send you a complimentary copy of the book and all you would have to do is read it and post a review on your blog and Amazon.com. You should post your review sometime between August 17 and September 4.

Please let me know by Friday, August 7 if you would like to participate in this blog tour and give me your mailing address. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
