Dale Earnhardt Jr has been on a very long losing streak, but Junior’s fan can rejoice this morning as he won at Michigan International Speedway yesterday to end the streak. It was up to 76 races without a win and he did it in a way Junior rarely does it and that is with fuel mileage. Junior had to save fuel at every caution he could just to be able to make it all the way. He did it and no matter what anyone writes today a win is a win no matter how you may get it.
Kasey Kahne finished second as he probably is the hottest driver right now. Since the Shootout race at Lowes Motor Speedway Kahne has been hitting on all cylinders week after week. Look out for him in the Chase if he makes it as he is on a roll.

Kasey Kahne has now one three of the last four Nascar events as he won the race at Pocono Raceway today. Kahne who was given a penalty for a pit road violation and came back to win it as his team is doing everything right these days. He led 69 laps of the 200 as his car was very dominate today.
Brain Vickers was second and Denny Hamlin finished third. Kahne though was the guy to beat and no one had anything for him. Kahne and Kyle Busch has been the two hottest drivers in Nascar right now. Both drivers seem to have hit on something and their pit crews for the most part are also doing well. To win a championship you must have a team effort.

Tony Stewart for the second time this year had his sight sets on a win only to have some bad luck do him in. With a little over five laps to go Tony Stewart either ran over some debris or had a slow leak in his tire as Kasey Kahne was able to pass him and take another victory at Lowes Motor Speedway.
First Kahne won the All-Star race and now he he has won the Coca-Cola 600 as well. You can say Kahne was in the right place at the right time, but the bottom line is he won and that is all that really matters if you ask him. Stewart dodged the press and went into his trailer and let his crew chief answer questions. Stewart was not very happy with what happen and I cannot blame him.

Kyle Busch so far this season without a doubt has been the hottest driver and yesterday he did nothing to tarnish that as he went out and took the Coca-Cola 600 pole beating out Kasey Kahne who will start second. Busch put up a lap of 185.433 in his no.18 Toyota while runner-up Kahne put up a time of 185.300. Both of these drivers right now are running well.
Brian Vickers will start third while Greg Biffle rolls off in the number four spot. David Regan grabbed fifth and Dale Earnhardt Jr will roll out of the gates in sixth spot. Right now Kyle Busch is on a role and it seems whatever he is doing is perfect as he is always near the top or grabbing poles. I do not know if he can keep it up all year long, but right now it will be very interesting to see if he can.

Kasey Kahne was voted into the All-Star race as the fans gave him an opportunity to show everyone what he could do. He took his opportunity and now is one million dollars richer. Kahne in the last segment decided to gamble and not take tires which paid off as he held off Greg Biffle to grab the win.
In looked early in the All-Star race that Kyle Busch was the car to beat but he had car trouble and then Junior stepped up along with Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards, but in the end it was Kahne. You never really like to get your way into a race like this Kahne did, but having the fans vote you in makes it that much sweeter as well. Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon were two drivers many thought had a great chance were not that good all night long. It will be interesting to see what happens in the Coca-Cola 600 in a week.

Kasey Kahne has pleaded not guilty is a shoving incident that happen at Homestead Motor Speedway in November. According to Kahne he was pushing away a security guards hands and the Guard tells a totally different story. Kahne has retained the same lawyer that represented Sean Taylor. The not guilty plea was filed Thursday so Kahne didn’t have to make a Tuesday arraignment appearance.
This is probably one thing that Kahne will be glad to get over with so he can concentrate on racing instead of having to see his name in the news for this. I’m sure this will be settled out of court before it’s said and done. I guess only time will tell.

Looks like Kasey Kahne will be heading to court after all for the allege shoving incident of a security guard at Homestead Speedway in Miami. The court date is set for Jan 8, 2008 and he is being charged with misdemeanor battery which carries a 1,000 dollar fine and a year in jail. Gillette Evernham Motorsports supports their driver in this case and feel the truth will come out in the end.
Things like this happen and it makes no real sense I guess depending on how you look at it. It will be interesting though to see how this all plays out inside the courtroom. If I know one thing about the court system you can never tell what will happen that’s for sure.

Remember weeks ago when Kasey Kahne got into an altercation with a security guard and reportly pushed him down. Well the investigation isn’t complete, but the security guard is filing a lawsuit against Kahne claiming distress over the incident and citing all the bad press he has taken for doing his job properly.
According to the lawsuit web blogs have been writing on the incident and he has taken mental anguish from this incident and the blogs are just another part of it. Most of these are fans blogs and in my mind this is plain stupid, but in America people will sue and that is what he is doing. It will be interesting to see what comes out of it.

Kasey Kahne was in an altercation with a security guard at the track at Homestead and was put in handcuffs friday. According to Kahne it was all a misunderstanding and the whole situation will be resolved.
It’s a shame like something like this had to happen. I guess in the end we will find out the whole story. Hopefully nothing becomes of it and Kahne and his team can just move on.

Well it’s official now Kasey Kahne has been anointed the official Bud Man by Budweiser. After Junior left DEI for Hendrick Motorsports Budweiser couldn’t follow him so the search was on for a new pitchman. Budweiser wanted someone that was close to Junior and Kahne probably is the closest as far as a promotional entity.
Budweiser got great value out of Junior, but they won’t get the same mileage out of Kahne. There is nothing wrong with Kasey Kahne and I like Kahne, but he’s no Junior and won’t be able to bring the following that Junior can it’s just cold hard facts. Considering what was available I think Budweiser made a great choice taking Kahne.
