Right now Joe Gibbs Racing is one of the hottest teams in the Nationwide Series as they have won the last five races and are looking for number six. With the stable of drivers that he has looking for number six could be a very good possibility.
It seems in the Nationwide Series Joe Gibbs Racing has the perfect setup for whatever tracks they are going to. The other thing that helps out a lot is when you can throw experienced drivers in very good cars your chances really improve a lot. I would not be surprised to see Joe Gibbs Racing in victory lane once again.

Maybe they should change the nationwide Series to the Kyle Busch Series as Busch won yesterday in Mexico to give him three straight wins in the Nationwide series and he may have to start thinking about the championship down in that series as he is doing really well.
Marcos Ambrose finished second in the race and Scott Pruett finished third, but the story was Kyle Busch with nine laps left pass the leader and there was no catching him as he made it three in a row. Can he make it four in a row? I guess we will find out soon enough.

Tony Stewart took the lead late in the Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway and was able to hold off friend Dale Earnhardt Jr and others to take the checkered flag and give Toyota a much needed boost considering what happened at Daytona last year for Toyota.
In my mind Stewart and Junior have to be the favorites for the Daytona 500, but my personal favorite would be mark martin. I would love to see Mark Martin win the race as he deserves to finally win here. He was so close last year and maybe this is his year you never know.

The newly named Nationwide Series will replace the Busch Series as Busch is leaving and they must carve their own identity into the sport which will be tough that is for sure. When your around a very long time and association with the sport than it’s made much easier. Being an Insurance company will make it a tougher sell for Nationwide in my opinion. More people for some reason related to products that they enjoy. I don’t know to many people who enjoy paying insurance.
Either way though it will be a tough road to go down. Changing rules will be something that needs to be done and for Nationwide they were tossed a ball that the Busch Series didn’t want to tackle and that was Cup drivers in the series. No matter what Nationwide does it will take them a number of years to get the following that Busch has, but it’s not impossible. Nascar fans love their racing and will accept nationwide with open arms as long as the love is given back in good racing with limited rule changes.
