Kyle Busch Grabs Another Win This Time At Dover

Kyle Busch just keeps doing everything right it seems and Sunday his crew chief made all the right moves and Busch tamed the Monster Mile for his fourth win of the year. Dover has always been a tough race track, but today for Busch it did not seem to be much of a problem at all.  One thing that really did help Busch was accidents that took out a lot of the good contenders. Guys like Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr could not avoid them and finished out of the top ten.

Carl Edwards tried as hard as he could and managed to take second while Greg Biffle took third place. Busch who drove for Hendrick Motorsports, but was let go last year has found a home with Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing. It looks like this could be the year of the Busch  and his first name is Kyle.

Drug Testing And Nascar

Drug testing in Nascar is something  right now that is a very hot subject and according to Nascar they have things in place to make sure they do not have a problem. Now that is real assuring , but in reality I doubt  how effective it really is. Many drivers have been busted and Nascar really does not come forward with a lot of names or how bad the problem really is. This makes me wonder how bad it really is.

If you ask the drivers they are pretty much mumm about it as they know it really is a problem, but will not openly discuss it. They have their reasons for not talking  and I guess I can respect that. I think drug problems are on the rise as injuries that drivers have do not heal quickly and drugs are the natural source for pain relief. I guess one day we will finally find out if there is a drug problem or not.

Greg Biffle Takes Pole At Dover

Greg Biffle took the pole at Dover and Kurt Busch was second while Kyle Busch was third. Biffle who has been working on a new deal to stay with Roush Racing is very close to getting it done. Biffle has not had the greatest season so far, but he is improving and that is the key if you want to get into the Championship.

Meanwhile last week after the Coca-Cola 600 Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon got into after the race with both trading barbs at each other. Everything has been patched up right now, but I would watch this as the season goes on this could be very interesting indeed. Kevin Harvick put his two cents in like he always does and of course Busch told him to butt out. Isn’t Nascar racing just great lol!

Jeff Burton Steals A Win!

It looked like Tony Stewart was poised for his first win of the Nascar season only to have Kevin Harvick bump him and send him out of the lead. Harvick’s teammate Jeff Burton quickly seized the opportunity and was able to win the race this week at Bristol. It was not a surprise that Stewart was not that upset about it as him and Harvick are close friends and Stewart sometimes drives for him in the Nationwide Series.

The real story was Dale Jarrett as it was his last points race of the season and he will be missed. He finished at the back of the pack, but he still will go down as one of the best for all he accomplished on the track. We will miss you Dale Jarrett.

Can Ryan Nemwan Keep It Rolling In California

After his big win Ryan Newman looks towards California to keep rolling along this season. most of the time though this never really happens. In California names like Stewart, Gordon, and Johnson seem to do well. Rousch cars also do well so that is another name that you will need to look out for.

Mark martin seems to do well to here and i look for him to bounce back after another disappointment at Daytona. This should be a very interesting race for a number of reasons so I guess we will have to wait and see what happens and who knows someone could shock everyone in California.

Raising The Age To 21 To Compete In Sprint Series

Nascar is thinking about raising the age to race in the top series to 21 as it stands at 18 right now. Drivers who are 18 would still be able to drive in the other series but could not compete until they were 21 in the Sprint Cup Series.

In my opinion this is a very good idea as you need to put some kind of safeguards in place. Younger drivers need the experience of the other series before jumping into the Sprint Cup series. I think it’s a good move if Nascar decides to adopt it.
